Rental Requirements & Conditions

• Advance reservation: The ATV must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
• Minimum age: The driver must be 21 years of age or older.
• Driver responsibility: The person renting the ATV is responsible for operating it safely and responsibly, following all applicable traffic regulations and the safety instructions provided by El Cardonal Eco Villas.
• Speed limits: All applicable posted speed limits and traffic regulations must be observed at all times. Racing, reckless driving, stunts, or any maneuver that may endanger the driver, passengers, pedestrians, or third parties is strictly prohibited.
• Permitted areas: ATVs may only be driven on roads, trails, and areas where ATV use is legally permitted. Federal regulations prohibit ATVs from operating on controlled-access federal highways.
• Fuel: The ATV is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Any fuel shortage upon return will be charged to the guest.
• Vehicle condition: The ATV must be returned in the same condition in which it was provided. Guests are encouraged to inspect the vehicle before starting their ride and report any existing damage or concerns.

Liability & Damage

El Cardonal Eco Villas does not provide medical insurance or emergency medical coverage for guests. Guests are responsible for obtaining their own medical or travel insurance and any coverage they consider necessary during their stay and for the activities they participate in.

The rental and use of the ATV are undertaken at the driver's own responsibility. El Cardonal Eco Villas is not responsible for expenses arising from accidents, injuries, medical treatment, or emergencies that may occur while using the ATV, without prejudice to any liability that may apply under applicable law.

The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the ATV during the rental period when such damage results from negligent, reckless, improper, or unauthorized use. In such cases, the guest will be responsible for the corresponding repair or replacement costs, as applicable.

Likewise, El Cardonal Eco Villas is not responsible for damage, injuries, or losses caused to third parties as a result of the guest's operation or use of the ATV, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Safety

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Before operating the ATV, guests must familiarize themselves with its basic operation, use the appropriate safety equipment, ride responsibly, and avoid any behavior that could put themselves or others at risk.

By renting an ATV, the guest acknowledges and agrees to these rental, safety, and liability terms and conditions.
